I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I set up and currently manage the counselling service at Kyra Women’s project. I have worked with Cruse Bereavement Care, the Samaritans and supporting victims at North Yorkshire Police.

I work with adults of all ages and from many different backgrounds.  My aim is to establish a relationship which is confidential, respectful and non-judgemental. My work with you will be conducted in an integrative way with person centred theory at the heart of our sessions.  This means that I see clients as unique individuals whose needs vary and for this reason I use a variety of therapeutic methods to meet each client's needs.  You may just want to talk, use relaxation techniques such as mindfulness to reduce anxiety and stress, or perhaps creative therapies such as art or writing.

“I AIM TO PROVIDE MY CLIENTS WITH A SAFE AND SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT WHERE THEY CAN EXPLORE PAST OR CURRENT EVENTS THAT ARE CAUSING THEM CONCERNS OR DISTRESS.”
